New leadership is essential to finally passing comprehensive immigration reform which secures the border to stop fentanyl trafficking, boosts processing capacity so immigration cases can be decided quickly and fairly, and finally creates a pathway to citizenship for law abiding, tax paying, immigrants who are members of our communities.

Donald Trump and Don Bacon would rather play politics with this issue and use it to campaign on rather than solve it - they both opposed a bipartisan border security agreement that would have been the biggest investment in border security in a generation and was backed by the Border Patrol. Their failed leadership is why our border is not secure and our broken system continues to hurt our economy and our communities today.
