Could Kamala Harris' candidacy impact the race between Tony Vargas and Don Bacon?
Omaha, NE - Just months before the presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris entered the race and could bring a shift in a key Nebraska race with her.
State Sen. Tony Vargas is challenging incumbent Don Bacon for the congressional district two seat.
Political Science Professor Randall Adkins said this race has always been competitive.
"This is a good time to be challenging an incumbent, when your presidential candidate is of your party and it's a presidential election year," Adkins said.
He said the excitement for Harris is evident.
